Tom graduated form Loyola Law School in 1988 and has practiced in the civil litigation field ever since, currently in the San Diego office of Gates, O'Doherty, Gonter & Guy, LLP. Tom specializes in warranty, homeowners association law, insurance defense, bad faith, and contractual actions. He also enjoys serving as a mediation and settlement conference judge.
